my HitNews.com

Below are the rankings of my Hit News.com’s Top Ten Nebraska High School Hoop Prospects for the ’08/’09 season.

The rankings were compiled through observations by and recommendations provided to my Hit News.com’s high school sports analyst Thomas Liechti–aka Action Force.

As with any polls and or rankings the collective effort reflected in the output is based on opinion and as such in no way does it constitute an absolute.  Nevertheless, we at my Hit News.com believe that Thomas’ prospect rankings are based on sound evidence that he has gathered through: live attendance of practices and games and consultation with various athletes, coaches and media personalities. In other words: “We know that Action Force has done his homework.”

Cambridge, NE has some of the best sophmores and freshmans in the state

What Is This Where Tiit Kuek Bryan Best Player Hands Down They The Number 1Team In State All Around The Best On The Bryan Team Great Shooter Great Passer Great Defense And A Leader In On The Next Leval He Will Be Even Better He A Real Pg He Just Doesnt Run It For Bryan Man This Is Insane Yall Left Him Off The List In He Haven A Great Season Yall Got 3 Bryan Players On Here But No Tiit Kuek Man Do Yall Research.

Brian Cleary was the 4th highest scorer in Class A last year and had the 6th best persentage shooting 3-pointers. Brian is back doing great this year but it is hard to get noticed when your team drops to class B and has a 1-8 record. Brian has a sweet shot.

tiit’s good, but this is the first season hes been productive, sorry, yes Bryan is a very good team and theyt deserve there number 1 spot.. but sorry Tiit is not a better college prospect than imig, dk or gullie

PUT UP SOME GOSH DANG CAMBRIDGE KIDS THEY’RE BETTER THAN EVERONE……….thank u =)

First Year productive Yes Are You Looken Out What Kinda Breakout 1 Year It Is Though Its Sumn To See Out There He Getten Very Damn Gd N Betta Game By Game He Got Nice Size 2 Run His P.g Position he Could Run In College If He Get A Little More Built He Got Great Potential If You Really Look At It And Ya He Can Run P.g

he is top ten for sure look at his playing ability he is the reason bryan is number one Tiit is one of the quickest in the state and is good at everything a guard needs do ur reasearch before u leave Tiit out

basketball fan and enough said are the same person i think.. im sorry tiit’s good but hes not a top 25 college prospect

I Believe Tiit Kuek Is A All Around Player Without Tiit No Way Bryan Would Be Num1, Just Look At The Burke Game In The Tournament He Got What It Takes If You Got To Look At The Stats He Has Been Consistent He Really Can Score At Will With His Slashing And He Can Shoot The Ball To As Well As Great Defense

i agree they wouldnt be number 1 without him.. but that doesnt make him a top 25 college prospect in this state!! he is at times out of control and turns it over to much at times– hes very good dont get me wrong

Naw More Then Just Me Thinks This Ok Explain Stevelle Burns Number Ten?Your Crazy He Can Shoot?Defense?I Mean He Good He Can Drive Great Hell Of Leaping Ability Great Athlet But Next Leval P.g Wat?As Well As Several Other Players You Can Say Stuff Bout On The List Not Even Honerable Mention Cum On Man Thats Crazy Talk.

Hmm I See Some Respect Coming Loll Man Just Look At Him Some More Just Watch Him You Will See He Got What It Takes.Good Topic Make One About Every Sport?

ITS NOT ABOUT WHO IS THE BEST PLAYERS, ITS BEST COLLEGE PROSPECTS!! Stevelle has recieved interest from NEBRASKA!! i’ve seen Tiit play 5 times this yr he is very very good, i just dont feel hes top 25 COLLEGE PROSPECTS

Whats wrong with his game that doesnt make him top 25 basketball prospects?

you guys are just a bunch of stuck up bitches who only look at the big schools in omaha, bellvue, lincoln, quit being tuck up lil fags and look at the real talent over in cambridge, and mccook

Action force on your defense I do not see Kuek as a college prospect not very strong and out of control sometomes, he is one of the best HIGHSCHOOL players but not college PROSPECTS. I think McGaugh should be atleast 11 and Davis is too high. And to all you COUNTRYBOYS and SMALL TOWN “omaha lincoln” HATERS the outstates players must prove soething Kaczor should be on here and Lollman though. CAMBRIDGE is a JOKE!!!

Hoopsdoctor, Scottie is on there that high because of the attention hes already gotten, hes a 6’5 junior who plays the wing in AAU ball, him playing the post for Burke is not his thing, while he is averaging double digits still its just not his thing, as he is getting recruited as wing, as myself and a fellow AAU coach agreed Davis is a better outside shooter than Mcgaugh

This is a joke right? better SHOOTER than McGaugh? Davis is lucky to be 23 or below on this list my prediction he goes to McCook like his fellow Burke teammate last year John Hill. He is slow and SOFT!

4.0 GPA no juco here

He is a VERY average player i see Bellevue or DANA! in his future no D2 at all.. he is smart on the court but just doesnt have it ATHLETICALLY!!

really? than i assume u know more than the Wayne state and Southwest Minnesota State coaches (both d2) who have been on him
stop tryin tp put down a kid who does nothing but produce on the court when given a chance and compiles a 4.0 in the classroom

Grades have nothing to do with it he must improve footwork and size he is a twig who got abused by ISKE!!

abused? the first time they played at UNO in holiday tourney when Mill West played a man defense Davis went for 12 Iske for 2!!! this time MW played more zone than last time and the majority of ISKE’s points came while DAvis was on the bench, plus he didnt really get s chance to play due to the officials

this performance at holiday trny led to ALL METRO TOURNAMENT HONORS!!

The year will tell with Davis he is SOFT 1/100 the player of his cousin was and 1/2 of his brother=WEAK!!

again how many times must one say hes playing out postion??? he is not a post player but he makes first team all metro tourney and averages double digits for the 2nd season in a row

it will DOC thanks for your “diagnosis” we’ll just see where he winds up and were Iske does

Losing team who couldnt do that at his size
he better be averaging double digits at 6’5 he is a underachiever if his Brother had his body we would be seing him on ESPN like we saw his cousin JASON DOURISSEAU arguably the BEST player in BURKE history DAVIS=WASTE of HEIGHT easily worst of his premier 8th grade startes

please u can not compare him to Jason,Jason is too real
Scottie doesnt get the rock!! 5 shots a game and still getting double digits= EFFICIENCY
who was better on the premier team Cole Marten, Tyson?

biggest win in recent burke histroy was central at holiday– the only game this yr were scottie took over 6 shots from the field and what was the outcome ther? a WIN and 20 points 11 boards

SMITH carried the team but who cares about middle school ball that was unprofessional on my part.
But Davis just should be alot BETTER i want him to do good he is a good student and a GREAT human being Ive talked to him and this kid is very humble and respetful!! BUT he needs to put the time in the WEIGHTROOM and offseason! BUT STILL NAIA!!

he is a greatk id, we are just going to have to agree to disagree, your not changing my tohughts and im obviously not changing yours– i respect your opinion, Scottie will be above NAIA i guarantee that, hes still doing good right now on his high school team while playing out of postion, breakout summer is coming!!! but thats all im saying on this topic for the near future

You and Kellomguy or whatever just kindve make me mad with your bold statements look at the facts Davis just doesnt have it physically rite now and his skill-set is limited! He is a CLASSIC d-3 or NAIA.. example is he better than a Donald Jones or LOrenzo wilson both went SMALL!

Enough Said

im not sure those two had the grades,i know one of them didnt cause i spoke with one of them last spring about there options— but yes both very good players, scottie had 15 agaisnt them last yr as a soph

Ya in a 30 point loss all im saying scoring doesnt mean much if your team is losing….ever heard of Mitch Albers D-1 if his team was any good

ya well CAMBRIDGE has the best freshamn Austin Jackson….against hayes center he had 7 3’s with 25 points he is really good

Who has even heard of HAYES?

dont hate him cuz hes good and from a small school…sry he doesnt want to go play for a lincoln school

unless it is the Nebraska Cornhuskers =)

oh and i was just wonderin where do u live????

ya i watched austin jackson play hayes center. he has a nice shot and hits the threes like there nothing

im guessin austin jackson puts up 20 tonight against dundy…he is amazing even though he is albino…when hes a senior he will be the best player in the state!!

well austin jackson only had 9 points tonight but he also had 11 assists

anyone gonna go watch the cambridge vs. arapahoe game tonight….its gonna be a dandy…and cambridge is gonna pull out the win

too bad arapahoe won by 6…but if they didnt have that foreign exchange student ivan simic they would blow…he had 24 points with 18 rebounds….and delvin jackson from cambridge had 25 points

Action Force: How does one become a top 25 hoop prospect? The top 10 is sort of a given especially if the criteria includes: leads the team in scoring, a leader on and off the court, great potential for all state honors (wide open this year), and potential to go and play at the next level NCAA college ball.

Several athletes could be excellent players in their class or potential all state candiates in the next year or two. Maybe we should look at their individual resume’, academics, ACT/SAT test scores, attitude, integrity, etc. all should provide better indicator of who is ready and/or proven to be ready for the next level of play.

I Know — I know it is just your opinion — right?

and yes it is my opinion i just think that people should give the little schools kids a chance….sometimes they can surprise u =)

so who do u guys think is gonna win tuesday…..arapahoe or cambridge
